I went to see Serenity last night.

Not only did I enjoy it but I came away with the feeling that Joss Whedon was making a statement about our modern society. In a way, I believe that he was making commentary on our society with it's meddling into the ways of nature all for the sake of human kind. We over-medicate people and destroy nature with little concern of the long-term effects on the planet and for the people that we're supposedly trying to help.

A little off topic but I was watching a story the other day which mentioned that the number of people who have died from natural disasters in the world has skyrocketed within the last year. Does anyone else out there believe that our Earth has decided to fight back for all of the abuse that she has suffered?

However, it could also just be an entertaining film created by the guy who created Buffy. Whatever the reason, if you are interested, go and see it. You won't be sorry.
